Direct counselling services to improve mental health and wellness in children and youth

Working with clinical counsellors from DIVERSEcity’s Child and Youth Mental Health Counselling program, children and youth will learn skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

Our services are free, compassionate, culturally informed and confidential, and available in several languages.

With the help of this program, children and youth will:

  • Learn skills to better manage symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns
  • Improve coping strategies
  • Improve communication skills
  • Gain a better understanding of themselves
  • Strengthen relationships
  • Improve self-confidence

Who’s eligible?

  • Children and youth up to age 18 who reside in Surrey and Delta

Eligibility for Child and Youth Mental Health Counselling is limited to clients and families with a first language other than English.
