Kickstart your career with this free, six-week program! Develop your jobs skills and confidence

Future Leaders is a free, innovative youth employment program that will set you up for career success. The program will help you:

Explore different career options
Improve your job search skills, including resumé writing and interview preparation
Learn about workplace readiness, financial literacy, wellness and mindfulness
Access one-on-one coaching and mentoring, including with industry professionals
Connect to further training and short-term certifications
Get job placement support
Plus, earn a living allowance and completion bonuses!

Skills Training Stream

Already know what career you want to pursue but just need the training? If you’re ready to enroll in an accredited post-secondary program in the field of your choice, our Future Leaders employment specialists can help you with tuition funding and one-on-one support. Limited spots are available for this stream.

Eligibility

Canadian citizens, permanent residents and protected persons aged 15–30 who are not currently employed or enrolled in high school or post-secondary studies

We are accepting applications for our next session of the Future Leaders Program. The program will be offered two days in person at DIVERSEcity West Campus (#201 – 7485 130 Street, Surrey, BC), plus eight hours online weekly.
