
The PEACE Program provides supportive, psycho-educational counselling for children and youth, aged three to 18, who have witnessed or experienced violence in their homes.
PEACE program counsellors support children and youth to feel safe, respected, valued and heard, and to reduce their isolation. Our goal is to let them know they are not alone.
Our services are free, compassionate, culturally informed and confidential, and available in several languages. While the program’s focus is primarily on experiences of trauma from family violence, we are also able to provide support for children and youth who have witnessed or experienced violence as a result of migration.

There is no language-based eligibility requirement. DIVERSEcity’s PEACE Program is open to all eligible clients regardless of your first language, including English.
We also provide support and information to caregivers and work with schools and other youth programs to provide prevention activities through the Violence Is Preventable Program (VIP).
