As part of the Surrey’s community safety programs, DIVERSEcity provides the SAFE Clinical and Family Counselling program to children and youth, and their families.

With a focus on diverse communities in Surrey, our services are free, culturally informed, confidential and available in first languages.

Counsellors provide one-to-one and family-based supports to increase confidence, self-esteem and connections to family, culture and community — for both children and youth as well as their families.

With the help of the SAFE program, you will get:

  • One-on-one clinical counselling support
  • Family counselling support sessions

Who’s eligible?

  • Children and youth between the ages of six and 24, and their family members, residing in the City of Surrey

Referrals are accepted via City of Surrey and Surrey School District. Please contact your school counsellor for a referral.
