Are you a BIPOC-led grassroots or community-based non-profit organization in British Columbia or Yukon looking for funding? The highly anticipated call for proposals from DIVERSEcity’s BUILD BC-Yukon program is now open!

Through our new CFP — open for submissions from January 15 to February 15, 2026 — DIVERSEcity is offering grants to grassroots organization ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 through the Equity Stream Fund from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Funding may support areas such as:

  • Governance and board development
  • Leadership development and succession planning
  • Funding readiness and financial systems
  • Data management and CRM tools
  • Operational infrastructure
  • Equity-centered organizational practices
  • Service delivery

The goal is to meet grassroots organizations where they are at, reduce their barriers, while supporting sustainable, community-led growth.

Applying for a CFP can feel daunting for smaller non-profits, so we’ve created an easy-to-follow application process with several resource documents, templates and even a walk-through video to help you!

Applications are now open until February 15, 2026. Let’s build community impact, together!
