DIVERSEcity Awards of Impact, Entrepreneur & Small Business Fair, Black in BC, Women’s Leadership Forum, plus DIVERSEtalks!
In today’s world, there’s an ever-growing need for connection, dialogue and forward thinking. At DIVERSEcity, we want to bring people together, bridge communities and industries, inspire conversations and create change for our community and for those we serve. We’re doing this, in part, through several signature events.

DIVERSEcity Awards of Impact are our annual awards, held after our Annual General Meeting, celebrating community members, partners and organizations who are changemakers, making an impact through leadership, community building, innovation or inspiration. The 2026 event will be held on September 22, 2026, in Surrey, BC. |

DIVERSEcity Entrepreneur & Small Business was originally launched in 2016 and has grown into an in-demand annual event for immigrant and BIPOC entrepreneurs during Small Business Week. The 10th anniversary event will be held on October 22, 2026 in Surrey, BC. |

To honour Black History Month and celebrate Black excellence, we launched the Black Brilliance in BC event in February 2023. The free event features a tradeshow, food, a panel discussion, keynote speaker, music and dance. It brought more than 300+ guests from Surrey and Metro Vancouver to celebrate Black talent, cultures and achievements in Canada, while creating space for connection and learning. It also includes the Black Brilliance Awards. We are currently planning for our fifth annual 2027 event on February 4, 2027, with a month-long knowledge sharing campaign. |

DIVERSEcity x Minerva Women’s Leadership Forum is our International Women’s Day celebration. Starting in 2023, we partnered with Minerva BC to throw a large-scale in-person event, featuring a panel of inspiring women leaders, a tradeshow of women entrepreneurs and interactive networking activities. The event has grown in scale and reputation year over year. Our fifth annual event will be on March 2, 2027, in Downtown Vancouver, steps from SkyTrain. |

DIVERSEtalks: Conversations for Change is a panel and speakers’ series embedded into our signature events and is now a podcast series! The goal is to amplify different perspectives, ignite conversation and have transformative dialogue on issues important to our diverse community. |
